There are a couple ways to potty train effectively.
First method:
Provide water and food in the morning and evening and take the pup outside to go potty it helps to have a designated location to trigger the pup to go potty.
We want to avoid grazing in the early stages you want to know that the pup is filling up its bowls all the way and it needs to be relieved. As soon as the pup has a clear understanding of this concept you can leave water out all day as she will whine when she needs to go.
Second Method:
Have a small fenced area on an easy to clean surface with a small crate for the pup to relax in and a rubber tub with artificial grass.
Make sure the crate is not too large forcing the pup to use the artificial grass as it does not want to soil its bedroom.
